DOOR INTERNATIONAL’S VISION IS DEAF REACHING DEAF FOR JESUS CHIRST, EMPOWERING THE DEAF TO REACH THEIR OWN PEOPLES.

In 2015 this became our mission. Deaf reaching Deaf through the 2 by 2 ministry, and Door’s methodology,  using CBT (Chronological Bible Translation) in our CBS (Chronological Bible Study)

June 2015: Within the CBS groups, Deaf desired a place of worship which is Deaf lead and taught.  Through much time in prayer and discussion with the deaf, Deaf Community Fellowship, DCF came to life, and met for the first time on September 11, 2016.

As of 2015, Deaf people – considered as a global people group – represent one of the largest people groups worldwide that is unreached and unengaged with the Gospel.  It is estimated that out of 70 million Deaf people worldwide*, less than 2% of Deaf people are Christ followers.

REACHING OUR PEOPLE GROUP IN THE US
There are an estimated  4,022,334 Deaf people in the US, and less than 2% of them know Christ. (Gallaudet University Deaf Statistics) 

To bring God’s Word, to the Deaf in our heart Language, ASL, here in the Triangle.

To train and equip Deaf leaders in evangelism, discipleship, and Deaf church planting to reach their communities for Christ.

Empower and equip Deaf Believers in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ and therefore transform their lives and community.
